About Me

I graduated with my Master’s degree from a small, intensive program at Duke University, and I’m credentialed by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. I am a member of the Neuroscience Education Institute, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the National Association for Addiction Professionals, and I have been published in the peer-reviewed journal Narratives of Professional Helping.

Immersed in art and design for decades, I ultimately chose to pursue psychiatry in the face of an unfolding opioid epidemic combined with my lived experience in recovery from addiction. Additionally, I saw many friends suffer from cavalier prescribing practices of psychiatric medications. I am dedicated to the ethical application of psychiatry’s emerging frontier and remain immersed in neuropsychiatric research. I am available for in-person appointments in Anaconda, MT and via telehealth for the rest of MT.
